Reverse Air Gauge - For Making sure tire air inflators have high enough PSI for steer tires
Have you ever run into an issue trying to inflate a steer tire at an unknown tire air station, only to realize that the air compressor is not able to get anywhere near the 120psi needed, and instead of inflating the tire you are losing more air. Or just worry about this scenario?
If so, this tool is for you!
The reverse air pressure gauge is a tool invented by one of our customers (JM, hence the part# we use), and we offered to get it manufactured for his fleet to use.
The tool is easy to use; Instead to hooking up the inflation nozzle to a tire, you connect it to the reverse tire gauge, and test the pressure/psi first.
If over 120ps, you are ok to use it on steer tires. If under, well, you will need to find another inflation station, somewhere in this great nation!
The reverse air gauge comes with a small carrying case and a quick valve cover.
The quick valve is not needed to use the air gauge, but if you keep the air gauge outside of the carrying case, the quick valve will keep dirt and debris out of the valve.
